My dwarfs seem to obsessed with the ascension of vampire lord. Its appeared in numerous works of engraving and crafts. I hope none of my dwarfs are secret vampires.
Metal Gear Rising Resurgence. What a horrible game. I can’t get past the shitty attack system, the non tactical stealth espionage, and Riden. I thought Metal gear solid 2 sons of liberty was the weakest of the metal gear solid games. And hear comes another game with Riden after they tried to make him a non whining bad ass in Metal gear solid 4. I’ll two hours into this game I dropped it for a week and am struggling to play another minute. I can’t even formulate my disgust for this game into a coherent rant of how much the two button combat system is antiquated, the stand still and slash is not even a novel addition, and ‘Platinum Games’ needs to go to hell for doing this to my childhood memories.
Every single time I play dwarf fortress my entire fort is slaughtered by an early wave of goblins or the like. I can’t get a military started and for some reason danger rooms just won’t work.
This time around I wait a siege out and the first caravan after that spells my death. I just want to trade for I don’t know, iron.
It happens more frequently than you would think.
A child just got a strange mood…
I’ve learned many lessons in my previous funs in dwarf fortress and the effect is evident in this new fort. I’ve setup a decent defense area. A waterfall inside my fortress. Gold. Now I just need to get my metal industry off the ground and a trained militia.
I was not expecting another group so fast, but no complaints! The new group is quickly and heartily welcomed.
The newcomers include a married couple, David ‘Gwendlethomp’ Paddleroofs and Cyndi Wanderedsabres. David quickly makes himself welcome through his expert comedy skills, while…
I know the feeling. Just creating isn’t enough Apearently.
Well, it was a good run.
Maybe next time I’ll attempt to create a military.
I’m stuck in dwarf fortress. Absorbed in it really. It’s a really deep game that makes you lose. I really wish my loses weren’t due to the fact that I can’t train a standing military. Well back to learning this.
Terror mission in Vancouver. Heavy Nuke was turned into chrysalid bait as well as our support Bridget. The squad up it’s size to five members and that made the difference.
OPSpace a field in Egypt was the site of a UFO crash landing. Xcom’s cleanup squad moved in killing three floaters, three thin men, an outsider, and stunning a floater. MVS Goes to our heavy, Nuke, for freezing the floater with suppression so the assault could stun him. Unfortunately it didn’t work as well round two with the outsider.
OPSpace was in London construction site to prevent an alien abduction. Was attempting to capture a live alien but the rookie scum that was carrying the arc thrower paniced after only being wounded. Clearly a better idea to drop this rookie. Xcom squad killed 2 sectoids and two thin men with no clear MVS.
3rd OPSpace was preventing an alien abduction site in Johanesburg, South Africa. The xcom squad encountered six sectoids drooling it up. Our squad sniper took five shots and ended up dying. RIP Stephanie Hall of Canada. Most valuable squadmember goes to support Bridget who got revenge in the following actions removing three of the xrays.
3rd OPSace is in a forest in Japan performing cleanup on a downed UFO. Xcom squad sustained minor injuries in killing 4 sectoids and an outsider. I believe this is the last setup mission for the early game.
2nd OPSpace was an office park in Lille, France. Alien abductions prevented by xcom squad. Mission went off without a hitch no fatalities and a couple of promotions. Another four sectoids down. Also, the operation name sounds like an item found in D&D.
